About
This page is normally for introducing the author and/or to tell what the website is all about.
First, what is the website about? It is intended to present answers that make sense to common questions about the world and universe around us and if possible to tell what the Bible has to say about them. It is also to ask the question, "Do you know for sure where you will spend eternity of you die?" For that answer start here.
Secondly, about me, the author of this website. Hopefully in the future, there will be many authors for a variety of web pages.
I will tell you my back ground but I don't believe anyone should believe another person just based on credentials. A person should use information from others as a spring board to do their own research and check to see if what has been presented is true. I don't care how many letters a person has behind their name or , universities, seminaries or other traning they have been to, it doesn't mean they have the truth, and on the other hand, no matter how little formal training a person has had, they could have done enormous study on their own or been in a job or other situation and have very accurate truth on a subject.
Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
So that being said, here is my background and "credentials."
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, WSU
- Two associate degrees in IT
- Saved for nearly 60 years
- 5 years on the mission field
- Been in one of the best Bible teaching churches since 1985
- Studied the Bible all my adult life
- Taught in a Bible Institute
- Attended Bethany Divinity College and Seminary
- Ham radio operator, Extra Class
- Hundreds of hours of management training at a major company
And as my old pastor said, Get all you can, can all you get, then sit on the lid! (and I would add, bury the can out behind the barn, roll up your sleeves and get to work!)
